Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile image. We also track usage counts (number of requests per extension) and subscription status. To prevent abuse of free usage and free trials, we store a randomly-generated device identifier (created by the extension, not linked to your hardware) and your IP address, and we record which accounts have been used on a given device.
2. What We Don't Collect
All data extraction (transcripts, thumbnails, metadata) happens locally in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit the content you extract from YouTube. We do not collect browsing history, YouTube watch history, or any data beyond what is described here.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your email and profile are used solely for authentication and account management. Usage counts enforce rate limits per extension. The device identifier and IP address are used only to enforce free-tier limits and to detect and prevent abuse (for example, cycling through multiple accounts on one device to bypass limits). Subscription data manages your billing through our payment processor.
4. Third-Party Services
We use Google OAuth for authentication, LemonSqueezy (acting as merchant of record) for payment processing, and standard hosting infrastructure. Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your personal data with any other third parties.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@rapidfetch.io.
6. Cookies
We use session cookies for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
